At Larry V. Thigpen, DDS, our patients are more than just patients—they become family. We believe in building relationships that will grow and be mutually satisfying in the years to come. Dentistry should be an enjoyable experience for people of all ages. Our emphasis is in prevention and total mouth care, we help our patients create and develop smiles they can enjoy and be proud of. Our practice offers a full range of dental treatments, including preventative, restorative as well as porcelain veneers and teeth whitening procedures.
Dr. Thigpen has a gentle and caring manner. A Macon, Georgia, native, Dr. Thigpen served stints in the U.S. Air Force before attending dental school and in the U.S. Army Reserves during and after dental school. In 1983, he graduated from the University of Missouri, School of Dentistry and taught for a year at University of Missouri, Kansas City, School of Dentistry as a clinical instructor. He returned to Macon in 1984 to be near family and friends and a city he loved. Dr. Thigpen is a member of the ADA, GDA and Central District Dental Society.
